SHE 

"She faces the challenges, but on what price!" 

More and more women in Bulgaria bring up and look after their children on their own. Unfortunately very often it turns out to be extremely difficult. 

Quite often the income of these women is not enough for anything else but to cover their basic needs. These lonely mothers and their children are forced to live in awful living conditions without having any opportunity to repair their homes or to improve the conditions in which they live. 

In order to help some of these women and their children to live with dignity and in better living conditions, Bulgarian fund for women in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Foundation – Sofia organises "She" fundraising campaign for repair of homes of women who support their families on their own. 

Under the campaign homes of 10 women will be repaired. The value of each repair cannot exceed 3,000 Bulgarian leva. The funds will be used for purchase of materials and provision of professional work that cannot be done by unqualified volunteers.  

The repairs, done both by paid professions and volunteers, include painting, plastering of walls, covering with tiles, change of the window and door frames, repair of the plumbing and making of a leak isolation of the walls.  

Each donation, made by you, will help living conditions of some lonely mothers and their children to be improved. Make a donation for "She" campaign through Zaedno.bg!
