"Summer Sea Academy" campaign is organised by Seafriends Club – Varna.  

Seafriends Club is established in 1996 by friends and adherents. The members of the club are all connected with the sea – they are divers, navigators, yachtsmen, ecologists, underwater photographers etc. 

SPHERES OF ACTIVITY  

1. Training in naval professions - divers, navigators, vessel drivers (of vessels with a capacity of up to 20 BRT) 

2. Work for preservation of the sea and sea shore from pollution 

3. Underwater archeology 

4. Alternative tourism –underwater tourism, marine eco and cultural tourism. 

5. Working with marginalized youths and providing them opportunities for integration and professional realization. 

Seafriends Club has organised six Summer Academies so far and thus has trained more than 100 youths.
