On November 6, 2006 on a press conference was presented the new single of Maria Ilieva “On my own” that is made with a charity aim under a project of the non-governmental organization “Face to Face” with the support of “Komor” foundation.

“On my own” is single to the film “Stolen Light” that has received four awards in Hollywood.

In the press conference took part Maria Ilieva, Magdalina Vulchanova (chair of the board of directors of “Face to Face”), Antoaneta Georgieva (Executive director of “Face to Face”), Antoaneta Mitreva (member of board of directors of “Kamor” foundation) and Silvia Yordanova (member of board of directors of “Kamor” foundation).

The new project of “Face to Face”, Maria Ilieva and “Kamor” foundation is the first Bulgarian song dedicated to human traffic. The project aims to inform the society through music for the human traffic and to show the different faces of the problem.

The message of the song “On my own” - that love cannot be bought with money – aims to show to the girls, dreaming for luxury, the painful reality that stands behind the beautiful promises. All the victims of human traffic face with disappointment, physical pain and humiliation.

On the other hand the project aims to direct the attention of people, using sex services, to the fact that there are young women who work against their will. Often the victims of human traffic manage to escape with the help of a client that has understood that they are forced to work.

Everyone, who wants to support the initiative of “Face to Face” can do that by making a donation for “First Chance’ campaign on www.zaedno.bg.
