First Investment Bank employees raised 1,500 levs for charity
The employees of First Investment Bank (FIB) raised 1,441 Bulgarian levs for charity at the celebration of the banker’s day that took place at the beginning of December 2006 in Bansko.
The funds were given to Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation (WCIF) which will donate them on behalf of the bank to orphanages, supported under the second session of "Social responsibility of First Investment Bank" fund.
The fund, which is a joint venture between WCIF and FIB, aims at giving opportunities for development of children and youths from orphanages in Bulgaria, working for their social adaptation, realization in life and preparation for independent life.
We, WCIF, organisations working on the implementation of "Social responsibility of First Investment Bank" fund and the children from orphanages, highly appreciate the expressed empathy on behalf of FIB employees, who with their active participation in the current charity initiative showed that they care about the problems of children from orphanages.
It’s very important that First Investment Bank supports the development of children from orphanages not only as an institution, but also that its employees are ready to contribute personally to the cause.
